The Easter Week was a very productive week for me scrapping wise. A week staying with my mum in Derby meant a week of staying up late scrapping and squabbling - it was just like old times!
This also created a week of discovering what new stuff she has bought. I now want a Cuttlebug more than life itself, Basic Grey papers that I really DON'T NEED and half of the stamps she has bought in recent months.
But, it did prompt a rediscovery of my own substantial scrapping stash, and I got down to using some. As per bloody usual, I used mostly cardstock. There's a surprise. But I made up for it on the most gaudy layout I have ever done.... You'll know it when you see it.
So - here they are: Some layouts I have done!
OK - I did this at a crop in the cold North - first layout in a YEAR! Way to go me!
First page of the wedding party 'series' - the plan is to do a layout on each person in the photo. Best get to it really!
Now for the first bit of the honeymoon album - Las Vegas!
First morning - we saw the dawn over the (fake) eastern palace of the Aladdin resort... Did look bloody good though!
Yup. It's like I sneezed a load of crystal onto a layout. Albeit in circular patterns. It's really rather silly. But I like it!
Using new things!!! Fancy Pants swirls. I do like these. A lot.
So - next layout plans are: Engagement layout for my friends Sian and Reg who got engaged last weekend. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
New Zealand photos for the next 'leg' in the honeymoon album and then maybe a couple of Wedding phots. But I did get some wonderful photos over Easter of Derbyshire as well.....
Crap. I have to go to work at some point. Gah.
Kx
